Seems more competent than the most of the gang - one ofthe main reasons why he received the order of the boot before.
 
It's Carrie getting her own back after nasty Dom sacked Javid's SPADS and he walked.

My caveat with Javid is his paid connections to massive Private Healthcare companies.

This war has a long way to run, who's the next in Desperate Dom's sights?
 
I’m surprised the media’s not been actively trying to find out who was behind it all; who put the camera there and who leaked the picture to the Sun.
 
I see that that toad Hancock told his wife the night before the story broke that he was leaving her for the other woman. Both have moved out of their respective family homes.
 
Well at least it seems this wasn’t just a casual affair, if they’ve both left to be together it was obviously serious. Not for me to judge, I don’t know what went on in their respective marriages.

Johnson's reputation is in tatters this morning. He runs a Government where the principle of loyalty to Boris overrides everything else: competence, adhering to the rules, honesty and integrity, treating staff with respect? They can all go hang in the Boris world of spivs, liers, bullies and third-rate cronies.

A bit too try-hard isn't it? No, I don't think SJ is those things. However, I did specifically refer to Johnson's world (perhaps culture would have been a better word) of spivs, liers...etc.

That much a coup, 24 hours earlier he was completely behind Hancock as it wasn't a resignation matter. "The matter is now closed".

His judgement is fully demonstrated and it's appalling. Forced to bring back someone he drove from office less than a year ago, as he chose Dominic over Sajid.

All going well, isn't it...

“So Carrie appoints Saj! NB If I hadn’t tricked PM into firing Saj, we’d have had a HMT with useless SoS/spads, no furlough scheme, total chaos instead of JOINT 10/11 team which was a big success. Saj = bog standard = chasing headlines + failing = awful for NHS.”

This government is better than the Thick of It!

Why does DC think his opinion counts now ?
He obviously didn’t expect Hancock’s replacement to be bringing back someone he originally forced out

Ouch this is hurting his controlling ego now.
 
The whole thing stinks from top to bottom. Hancock using his personal email account to allegedly award PPE contracts rather the his official account which is documented. His shag piece is a millionaire being paid 15k pa for 15 days work, she is a director of a lobbying company. Her brother is director of healthcare company who has been awarded health care contracts. Sajid Javid is "employed" in a role with JP Morgan a major player in private health care.
We are such a passive nation, why is the general public so accepting?

They don’t allow CCTV in private offices. So this must be a hidden camera, according to a security expert. I expect the light fitting, or similar. Can you imagine if Dom put it up?! 😂😂

If I were Dianne Abbott or the Labour Party I wouldn’t get embroiled in dishing the dirt unnecessarily and publicly like this. It’s not a smart move at all.

1) because the Tories are doing a good enough job of destroying themselves as it is
2) because by dragging herself into the mix she becomes fair game for a bit of unwanted exposure herself.

This is getting very dirty now and I’d just watch them all implode rather than shoe horn my way into the fracas.

I can't believe he tweeted that, not I don't believe who said he did, I can't believe he'd do it.

Hardly makes him appeal to others who may be considering him for roles in the future.

All down to his ego as you said.
