Saturday Anniversary

What a day that was with the homecoming from the tower with all the scarves,flags,balloons and banners in the air as we all walked back to Bloomfield rd. one I will never forget. My first away game was Accrington which was also a special night capped off with a great win. 🧡🤍🧡🤍🧡
Maybe get the Simon Sadler chant going round the ground as a lovely reminder too

We did the same, Tower walk and Accy away. Both tremendous occasions in a different way, but for the same reason. I was reminded of the Nelson Mandela quote “free at last, free at last, thank God almighty, we’re free at last”.

Was thinking the same, we should march to the game every year on ‘Homecoming day’ lest we forget!. Get the Tower involved lit up and turn the town tangerine.

Seems like a lifetime ago and yet also yesterday if that makes sense
Everyone worked so hard to make that happen from a starting point of having no bank account / no card machines / no kitchens / no caterers / no suppliers / skeleton staff - the only thing we had more than enough of was the pigeon poo
How cathartic it was to see the fans turn up to clean those seats
Symbolism at its best

The club is piss poor on the social media front, selling games to people etc
 
Just been watching all the protests and the homecoming on you tube. What a job each and everyone of us did to help get rid of the smelly vermin running the club. Can’t wait for today’s game. Loud and proud. Let’s get Bloomfield rd rocking today. Chant for Simon Sadler and the homecoming chant Woke up this morning feeling fine. 🧡🤍🧡🤍🧡🤍🧡🤍
 
The most incredible and emotional day, where have those 5 years gone? I've watched the 'home coming' clip almost as many times as the Play Off semifinal highlights at Forest. A rendition of 'Something Good' and 'We've got Simon Sadler' is a must today. 🧡
