Just back from watching grandsons u12's footie macth, they were playing Blackpool girls u13's
I throughly enjoyed the game, the girls won most of the 1 to 1 battles, they have some very skillful players, they just lacked clinical striker
The boys were lucky to win 2 - 0

I wonder if one day the girls and boys will be at parity?

Physically by mid teams there’s a noticeable difference but if the game becomes less and less physical and heading gets banned, then that may no longer be a factor?

Women goalkeepers will have to improve enormously to unseat a man.

Might happen with a generation of coaching, but it's miles away in my opinion

Up to the age of about 12 though, it's looks pretty even.

Interesting today that Sky put the Women’s Prem game as priority over the Blades v Cov game.

I wonder if the viewing figures support this now?

Edit: Villa’s goalkeeper was very amateur

Women's football is the new 3D for Sky.

Technically possible, chick loads of money at whilst it's fashionable then drop it when they realise people just don't want to watch it.
