Saturday - The Anfield Effect

Always loved how Liverpool fans on European nights when they need a big result make it as intimidating as possible inside the stadium and I hope we do the same on Saturday. Need to make the nob end players feel uncomfortable and intimidated everytime they touch the ball. I was nervous for Saturday but now I’m buzzing. Can’t wait to show the nosey neighbours what a proper atmosphere is

I think that’s an unfair comparison to Liverpool … they can only aspire to be as noisy as we are

During the Premier League season, decibel levels were measured at every stadium. And not just once, they did at least twice.

Blackpool had easily the smallest capacity out of all the top flight clubs that season (think it was given as just over 16,000) Wigan were next with 25,000.

Yet despite that huge difference, Bloomfield Road was the 5th loudest stadium.

So yup, Liverpool can only aspire to be like Blackpool......
