Scott Brown (ex Celtic)

Great capture if true. 👍

I’am sure a few on here will be saying it’s a cheap desperation appointment though should it come off. 🤣

Why's it a great capture the bloke has done fuck all coaching it's another one of these he was a leader on the pitch so he's bound to be a good manager.
It sometimes works/doesn't and unless AP backs him gets rid of the clubs salary cap on wages it wouldn't matter who they got in they need to spend some serious dough.

I think for a club the size of Fleetwood to be even in for a shout with one of Scotlands most decorated players speaks volumes.
Who had heard of Critchley before he came here? yet many on this board were saying he was a fantastic appointment purely on the grounds he was Liverpools youth team coach.
I totally agree not every former player makes the step up as a manager but for me it’s a positive move if it comes of.
If Fleetwood appointed Pep we’d still have the Cod haters on here saying is that the best A P can do. 😴 🤣

Never liked him and I definitely don't like Celtic.
Average player who's just played flat track bully in a shite league winding opponents up and spoiling the beautiful game. Probably hates the English as well. Well not probably...definately.
50 odd caps for Scotland who thankfully never embarrassed his way through a major tournament.
Apart from all that he's probably a good lad 😊

Yes Jaffa, all great players make great managers don’t they? He’ll soon be joining the pantheon of legends that includes Colin Hendry, Chris Waddle, Tony Adams etc.

Seriously, seems he’s been doing some coaching at Aberdeen which should at least give him some basis for doing the job.

At the end of the day, without a bigger budget the end result for Fleetwood isn’t likely to be all that much better, especially with coming off-the-field distractions.

Feels like a risk. As first jobs go, it will be tough, especially if the owner gets a date for his court case. Mind you, he seems distracted already.

A lot has happened since 2018, really.

Critchley was a hugely rated coach, completely different to an ex player who's never coached.
