I happened to be in a Persian restaurant in Kings Cross, meeting the former MP for Hartlepool, the night that George Galloway won his court case against The Telegraph.
Very, very strange experience.
"Henry Kissinger the greatest war criminal the world has ever known" was a quote which stuck; given the list of folk I think possibly beat him to the title.
Good food as well.

I can't remember who said it but a senior Labour MP was on Radio 4 once being interviewed about gorgeous George and he was saying that he was aware that another senior colleague didn't like Galloway. When asked why not, he replied, "because he's met him."

He's a chancer with little moral fibre but his destruction of the hawkish Senators in the 2005 hearing was a thing of beauty, he also took Hitchens apart during an Iraqi war debate not long after.
