Seagulls wrecking my cars

The adult ones gave no fear of our cats and front ghem on ghd garage roof. Our terrier is a different matter but the fly off
Just had a quote for garage roof repairs as leaking due to these flying rats landing - £1000 ?!?!

Seagulls pecking our cars and causing serious damage. Lived here for 21 years in this house, but never seen this before. They've completely knackered my daughter's car and had a right good go at wifey's too. It's absolutely mental, they just stand there pecking and are ** up the bodywork. I spent an hour chasing them off at tea time. Need to take action. Any advice would be most welcome.

We moved house three years ago and in the first year seagulls nested by our chimney. Loud squawks all bloody day, dive bombing and offspring in our back garden.
The following year they tried again. I hosed them down. No seagulls on our roof since.
