Just tuned in for 10 mins.....TAM Raggy & Andy Grice FFS corporate Lounge drama🙄🙄 couldn't take another minute

Although it was worthy of a mention, there was far to much waffling on about the Bolton fans in the kop/corporate. Must have been approaching 20 minutes on it.
After that, it was quite good.

Podcast Rating: 7+/10

Would have been 8/10 otherwise.

Agreed 💯 percent. Only a minority of Blackpool fans blowing the Bolton fans incident completely out of proportion. Great weekend to be a Blackpool fan roll on Tuesday night at Orient.

I totally disagree with you and Mosser, at least TAM has the ability to accept whilst hindsight is a great thing, it should have been dealt with later in the show.

I have subsequently listened to the rest of it and there was some good positive stuff.

All the fans need positivity, this weekend had lots of positivity, only a small percentage of the fan base are fortunate enough to afford the corporate lounges so they probably "switched-off".

Agree Ash… it’s just boring tittle tattle that most of us aren’t tuning in to listen to. Disappointing after such a great result, but it’s par for the course these days with the Brothers Grim… Any excuse to do our great club down 😉🧡🎢
 
The flip side is that there were a number of requests made that the podcast discuss what happened both in the North and the Lounge made pre-show and in-show which is why we decided to discuss literally as we were about to go live

I think we probably gave it a few mins more than it warranted ( I checked back and it was 12 mins over the two incidents ) and at the wrong point but the show isn't scripted and we often go off at tangents and after we put it to bed we spent another 75mins talking about the match

It is what it is

You are away and so won't have seen but the North stand incident played out in front of everyone coupled with which the incident became something of a twitter sensation as the guy who took the punches said he was a BFC fan so it was topical

Wouldn't get too bogged down in his critique to be fair, he's just a contrarian. Naturally or intentionally, it's never constructive regardless.

Ah I see… prioritising the patreon funders to keep the big bucks rolling in to the expense of the original loyal viewers. Typical !!

I saw the whole North Stand ‘Drama’ play out on YouTube or whatever… More of a Twitter ‘non-event’ really… But it seems folk will latch on to any old bollocks these days …. I suppose it’s marginally more interesting than the last Twitter Frenzy ‘Man gets banned from Club feed for being a dick’ etc… I note that Talk Sport never ran with the scoop😉

It’s all He Said She Said nonsense really… the whole lot of it… Violence of any sort shouldn’t be justified… I’m not sure what your inclusion of it added to your podcast or to shedding any light on the events really…As Raggy tried to say, the Police were dealing with it… best left at that .

I've never ever been in corporate or a lounge. On recent evidence I'm not missing much. It just seems to make people angry. If it's not flacid/tepid pastry products and restrictions about their purchase, it's lack of chairs, chewy chicken and if that's not enough, you have away fans too!

Don't get this drama downstairs amongst the plebs.

Apart from this weeks the Drama in the North…Although it does sound like Tim and BadaBingers were among the protagonists, so perhaps a bit of corporate spillover.

It can get tough up there tbh… They refused to sell me a second pie a few weeks ago, which resulted in a very sulky demeanour, I don’t mind admitting. ☹️

100% agree - was looking forward to this one but was ruined by petty gripes from a couple of people who have axes to grind.
Podcast is always better when it's MCLF and the other guy (or TAM's son is excellent).

In fairness, I think the reaction to the discussion from those watching the pod and on here afterwards tells you how interested people were in the ‘terrace gossip’ after a 4-1 Derby win.

Thats not to say it doesn’t merit discussion… I just think there’s a time and a place really..

It’s no biggie…
 
Seems barmy to me to spend the first 20 minutes discussing some men behaving badly in hospitality when we've just beaten Notlob 4-1. It's probably not even a podcast discussion in my opinion.

It was actually just over ten mins between the two incidents ( not just hospitality ) but as previously stated it should with hindsight have been dealt with later
Equally we do this unscripted for the most part as as you know we often go ' off piste ' at the start
