Season Ticket Cards

I went down on Monday morning in and out in less than 10 minutes and I commented to Sarah how efficient it was .

Well done ticket office staff first rate customer service .

So if the card lasts 2 years then that’s £10 for the year, back in the money, happy days

Fans need to lay off staff when picking up their card some dickhead was moaning that Liverpool only pay a fiver for one!

Same happened when my mate picked up 4 the other day staff getting abuse over it.👎
Not sure why they are giving the staff shit but totally understand the moaning. This extra charge is just another way of punishing people (myself included) who choose not to use or can’t afford a smart phone.
I wrote to mr Sadler about this but obviously had no reply

You can't afford a smart phone don't talk rubbish there as cheap as anything and with contracts as little as £7.50 a month with data.

You DON'T want to use a smart phone and if your a certain age that's fair enough but unfortunately that's how it's going to be no turning back now especially after the pandemic.

But it does make me chuckle folk moaning about technology on a internet social media site.😂

Just to put an ol,timers point of view. I can and do use smart phones. I downloaded 2 of our 3 seasons tickets into my wallet but I,m still getting 2 cards. WHY? because if they work as well as my downloaded ticket didnt at Barrow, the delays will be lengthy and I hate queuing!!
Better safe than sorry

Considering that Blackpool is one of the poorest areas in the UK and people are using food banks £7.50 is a lot to some people and nobody should be saying what can or can't be afforded by someone else . Also I let my son sort my ticket out as I don't trust technology or want it . I can't wait to see what happens on matchday if the turnstiles fail to work . At least the people with cards can prove they have a ticket ,because I can't see what they are going to do with the rest of us.

If the turnstiles fail they fail and if they let you in showing your ST on your phone or an actual card what's the difference?
Nothing stop trying to make problems that ain't there.

Just get a card from club shop took a couple of minutes when I was getting three on Friday £20 each last for two seasons no issues.

When I was in the ticket office on Saturday I asked about the possibility of turning a “card” ticket into a “paper one “ as I know I cannot make a forthcoming game and would like to pass on . I was told we can’t (which I expected them to say). But..:.They did say a further communication was due to come out though about use of season tkts etc …. So let’s see what is said …

You don't trust technology, or want it, and yet you are posting on an on line message board using the world wide web and using a device full of technology to post your message even though you don't trust any of the aforementioned technology? :)

With all due respect would you be getting a season ticket if you were using food banks? I don't think you would.

Got my plastic cards. The ticket scanners in the north were absolute shite on Saturday. All those in front of me had to fanny about with their tix to get them to scan. I hope the phone apps are a lot better.

I am not making problems , I am just giving a scenario that may happen . Anyway if you are happy to give your money away for nothing ,it's none of my business.

Just because it has to be used to pay bills ,keep in contact with people and receive info ,does not mean you can like it or trust it. A telephone is technology and I was happy with that at the time.

And I've give you a scenario which says can you tell me what's the difference between a bit of plastic and ST on your phone?
Absolutely sod all.

It's £10 a season FFS I'll spend more than that on Saturday and I'm driving!

Yes I noticed that on Saturday and l had problems myself, I’d be very surprised if it all goes smoothly this Saturday but hopefully just a few teething problems.

You are probably right in general ,but nurses for example use food banks , yet they may have children or grand children that want to support Blackpool . I may pay in stages ,but I know I would buy one for my child and if I had to take him ,you tend to find the money.

After reading all the points on here I popped into the ticket office today and bought 3 plastic tickets. Apparently they said many people are also buying the cards. And for £20 extra they are valid for 2 years. Hopefully by then, a work around has been developed so we can share digital tickets

Who WOT?
Nah just a typical old moaning git off here who's probably not shy of a poxy £20.

Sick of hearing food banks, nurses, cost of living etc when someone has parted with 350 to go to games yet twenty they can't afford.
#bullshit
Surely the definition of someone who is aware about people using foodbanks and nurses is WOKE.🤣

Hmmmmm
Yeah
I wonder if those so “smug” less than 50 years old with digital tickets, will be as smug if the system crashes like it did at Edgebaston first day of the Ashes, or when the Bluetooth crashed at Wembley for the Euro 2020 Final (played 2021 due to Covid) entering Bloomers first game of the season.
We all saw the violence at the Euro Final Wembley gates as technology failed miserably.🙄🙄
It is a rip off charging £20 to “Loyal BFC ST Holders” when the cost to the club is “few pence” and doubt even a pound maximum.

Think it's more like not sharing a ST . If cards are available more likely to share it .
