Given the nature of a hedge funds it wouldn't surprise me if Sadler and his business would have actually done quite well out of the crisis. Being close to the epicentre means it wouldn't have come as such a surprise as maybe it was to the Western markets either - so I expect he's quite happy and probably quite a bit more wealthy.

I'd like to think anyone who goes from renting deckchairs to running a hedge fund with over $2 Billion in funds is astute. Fingers crossed some of that money finds it's way back to Bloomfied Road !!
