I still think we should try and buy Sheff. Wed. then we would be ultra massive ourselves ! On a more serious note i presume you mean the
midfielder Dele Bisharu etc.!

Sounds like another Brannagan scenario, get a bid accepted and just as he is about to sign he signs a new 4 year deal at the massive.

Watched their game at home against Portsmouth and he was v impressive, scored 2 and was the best player on the pitch. A pitch with Colby Bishop on it, no less.
Can't see it myself, he looks set for a breakout season, definitely one of their best players. Doubt we can offer much more in wages, he'll be thinking they can get promoted this year and though I suspect they're wrong, just like last year, the perception is we will get relegated. Mansford would have to suddenly become Don Draper from mad men or offer him an eye-watering wage, probably even more than we'd have needed to get Brannagan.
