Should beach patrols fine people for this?

No.

They should post snipers around and just take the fuckers out.

Not entirely joking.
With you all the way on that one, Lytham. Whilst they're at it they can take out a few choice dog-walkers. I went out for a ride along the cut towpath yesterday and there were bags of dogs doings hanging on the hedges like Christmas tree baubles. It just seems to be getting worse.

As I mentioned earlier on another thread I’ve no intention of mixing with the great unwashed and this justifies my reasoning. How about charging entry to the beach “ this is to cover what you scumbags will leave behind “

Don't single out Lancashire it's happening all over the British coast, only the other day the Beeb had an segment on the amount of shite left on Brighton beach.

We need to change the culture in this country starting at an early age similar to the Green Cross Code campaign we had as kids about litter no one give a toss anymore.

You didn't fall for the truffle trick did you?

🤣

Had a cycle on the prom from Harrowside to the Tower this evening and the rubbish left on the prom is a ** disgrace and something needs doing about it, if it wasn’t for the volunteers picking the shite up it would be left blowing around all over the place. As poolseasider says it’s not just confined to Blackpool though.

Well the lancs live comes up as its the local area..

What is the point of that? It's like you've made it even worse by covering it in plastic and preserving it.

Well it's a sad state of affairs if we can't educate these morons who make this ** mess. But there seems to be some real thicko's who leave all manner of things everywhere they go. From picnic waste to shit of all varieties. Starr Gate to St Annes beach was a mess after the weekend AGAIN. I read they were using DNA to identify dog fouling against a database in Tel Aviv, judging by the non dog like shit I've seen around, it might be a good idea to do the same to humans, that'd make the twats squeal, invasion of privacy my arse.

Disgusting. Yet again it is the parents. They chuck stuff themselves. Same goes for swearing every line. Manners etc.Kids copy. I have standards. So do my kids.

Council should empty bins more often, have more bins and litter enforcers should be on patrol at busy times. The Beach Patrol could cut the parks grass, refurbish council properties, collect council tax, clean the mayoral car, anything else you silly little boy.

Yes.

Any moron leaving any kind of rubbish on the beach should face an instant fine for me of £500.

They wouldn’t do it again.

It's the same everywhere. I take the dog out every morning and take a carrier bag with me for the litter I am guaranteed to find. Usually Maccie D wrappers and cups thrown from a car window.

You can’t get DNA from Pooh can you? - least ways not with 100% certainty!

And aren’t the Beach Patrol concerned primarily with water safety and making sure people aren’t caught out by tides and not being caught short by bowels!

I don't know if it's feasible or not to get DNA from dog shit as I've never tried TBH, but there are some references on the Net (make of them what you will) it's probably pie in the sky (or pavement) though. We could utilise traffic wardens (they could multi task) for a No.2 bonus & a free pair of binoculars 😂

£50 on the spot fine, the beach warden patrol squad would soon pay for itself and the town.

Just need to put together the team and the uniform.

This lot could become iconic.

There are some quite disgusting individuals around and it appears to get worse all the time.

Around 43 years ago, my son was on the beach at St Annes, where we had taken the kids for a picnic. He stepped on a broken bottle that had been buried, had to be rushed to the Vic Hospital to have glass removed from the wound & stitches in his foot. The result, even today he still gets pain from that injury.

But does he put his best foot forward?

get the environment agents who go round fining people for dropping fag ends they can fine them on the spot
Good point that, John. What's the difference between the street and the beach? With the amount of rubbish some leave behind, surely it could be classed as fly-tipping or something similar.

Stop it, BFC....................................you already have a thread you've got going till the end of eternity, be satisfied with that! 🙃
So are you going to make a statement on behalf of the white community condemning this terrible act of beach violence or not?

they have the power as it is littering so if you drop any litter what so ever then bang fined might start making people think twice
and take them to court and give them community pay back litter picking for 40 hours

I cycle from Harrowside to Rossall from time to time and in lockdown the ride was brilliant.
Clean beaches, promenade etc.
Since lockdown has been lifted there has been nothing but litter for as far as the eye can see.

Great to see holiday makers back in the town but unfortunately the vast majority of them are dirty bastards with no thought for others or the environment.

You get the society you deserve eh!!
