Shrewsbury roll call

4 pulled out for the weekend. Discussed it this morning and none of us can be arsed!

Best not go to the Gay Meadow….it’s a housing estate now ( sadly) …..new ground ( the Croud Meadow😳) is well away from the town centre,a good 30 plus minute walk,I know because I did it last time I went ,and more importantly the railway station😂.

Thought about going and even staying over with the wife but even before Tuesday night had decided to give it a miss which just leaves Wigan as my only likely away fixture this season ( have to get one in 😂).

So your wife lives in Shrewsbury. Where are you based?

Cheeky….i thought we might have a weekend away since we haven’t had a single overnight away from home in 4 years and 13 days😂 as we both enjoy visiting Shrewsbury.
Decided as we can do that any time on a day return with a senior rail card😉( it’s only an hour on the train if that from Wilmslow) I’d save it for another day as there is no way she’d do a day trip for the football,Wembley perhaps but definitely not the “ Croud Meadow”.

…anyway am saving up for another cruise,the last one ended 4 years and 13 days ago😂
