Welcome to Blackpool Rhys. Excellent signing this and he and Marv should for a backbone for the team. Don’t understand the negativity on here. He has played in the Liverpool team and has a bright future. With Keogh and maybe Thorniley as back up and big Doug out on loan we should be well covered. Connolly is definitely a midfield player this season.

He controlled the back four and gave our attackers next to nothing. Amongst others that played for us in that game, were James, Casey, Dale, Daniels, Beesley, Yates, Virtue & Apter.
We saw enough of him to say that this is a good footballer, who is developing well and we're glad to welcome him on a full season loan.

Can we stop the winging this signing has real potential. We needed another natural CB and he fits the bill, be good to see him and Marv establishing a partnership with Keogh as backup , Hubby and Thornley are further option when we are short. Now let’s sort out the positions either side of them and maybe a decent striker.

I’m pretty relaxed about how we’re going about our business. If we want a new stand and training facilities, something has to give. I think the board is going about things the right way - sensible, sustainable and shockingly different to how we used to do transfer business.

He hasn't failed IMO. He's 19 and learning. Played first team games for Liverpool. Swansea have a specific play style too, which was utter shite when I watched them at their place. It isn't for everyone.
