Everton are on tour of the United States, they were just embarrassed by Minnesota 4-0. Lampard took Simms with him but didn't play him, even with unlimited substitutions and a team falling apart before his eyes. Their other young striker, Dobbin, got half an hour, so he's higher on the pecking order.

He'll be off as soon as they get back home. I know, his wage demands will be high and other Championship sides will be in for him. But we just passed on a striker who would have cost about the same transfer fee, so I'll keep hoping for another few days.
