Simon Sadler Chant at Blackburn

Made me very proud that “Simon Sadler, he’s one of our own” was sung at Blackburn. Must have rubbed t’Rovers fans up the wrong way although they seem to suffer in silence.
How many of the 92 clubs have an owner who is home grown? Can’t be many but the lower you go through the divisions there will be more.
Accrington Stanley is the next best example I can think of.

There's less and less owners from the same country as English clubs, let alone the same town. We're definitely in the minority in having an English owner within the top 2 divisions.

David Haythornthwaite...sorry he's as much an AFC Fylde fan , as Andy Pilley is a Fleetwood fan.
Simon Haythornthwaite ( brother ) is a BFC regular.

Don't forget West Ham's porn barons.
One of my all time favourite chants ever heard as a Pool fan. Scene - the West Ham playoff game, Wembley. A massive gaudy looking Roller pulls up outside and out step The Gold Brothers in all their bad taste finery. Poolsters on the balcony immediately launch into a rousing rendition of "you can stick your f*cking dildos up your arse" You should have seen them move 😂

We gave the inhabitants of said roller some right stick as it passed us on way to nearest pub after the Wembley robbery !

….uncalled for Wizz…..whether or not the family did anything after JW left behind a genuine legacy, not least an excellent stadium.
I apologise if I've offended anyone with my statement.
Jack Walker was indeed Mr Blackburn rovers and if Simon Sadler can deliver 50% of what Walker did at Ewood Pk we're in for one he'll of a ride.
However, it is a fact that his brother and daughter sold out without a second thought for the Rovers fans.

Jack's moto was think big
Unfortunately theirs was think bucks😕
