Not heard many chants (if any) at recent home games toward Simon Sadler...

He knows what we're after..
He's one of our own...
One Simon Sadler....
Simon Sadlers Tangerine...
Simon give us a wave....

None of them. Thought it would be good to get some of those chants going again, especially when he's at games. In recognition of our appreciation.

I tried starting it a few games ago in North only a few joined in from Block C
 
Football is about players, managers, fans. SS is doing a magnificent job but not sure chants about owners do much for me

A pundit said a few years back something along the lines of...
If fans are singing about the owners rather than the players, manager and general fan banter there's something wrong...
I kind of agree (though i do love SS and what he's doing) I'm sure he'd agree to keep the focus on the pitch.

Get the feeling he doesn't seek any attention or publicity, but one chant every match should be included to acknowledge our gratitude.
 
Maybe a quick ‘Simon Give is a Wave’ now and again if he’s knocking about, but let’s not get all sickly🤮

The lads in the Kop are doing a great job on the chants front… 👍

I think the thread is just a bit of fun seeing as there is no game.

No need to go all Simon Cowell on people's contributions!

Could always do SS chants before game starts or half time break. Try keep everyone happy.

How about one or two of our more creative fans pen a little poem for Simon to express their love and appreciation and then recite it at half time 👍

We thought our Club was torn apart
But then you came and claimed our hearts
Your flowing hair and olive skin
It’s hard to know where to begin
We love you Simon that much is true
And thanks for everything you do
