Seems to me we play brilliant football but we're bang average in division 1. Sideways passing, safe football, all text book stuff... but we keep losing on the road. We need a bit of div 1 experience - someone or a couple of people who know what it takes to win

Isn’t that meant to be the likes of Norburn in League One and Rhodes generally ? Not knocking them as they appear as misguided as the rest of us !!

I don't think we do play brilliant stuff really. We play it around under no pressure nice and slowly which most teams are happy for us to do. As we progress the ball into there trigger areas we then lose the ball or are wasteful as we are put under pressure or we retreat back where we are under no pressure again before we hit it long.
Not much tempo, not much risk and we don't really try to win the ball back quickly when we lose it either.

I have posted before, that opposition defences have time to nip out to Tescos to pick up a few bits, before the ball comes in. And yet another bone to pick; what is Andy Lyons doing as a Left Wing Back? Pool need a left sided player there. Oh, I forgot; he’s on the Right

You need a few rough and tough Keogh type players - we're too nice and the players in the dressing room videos are all so pleasant and polite.
