He’s not a popular player thanks to the Russian episode but he really is a great all round player. He deserves to have won more tournaments in recent years than he has but it really is time for the old guard to drop away. Hendry’s comeback hasn’t happened yet and may never but it’s a bit of a groan moment when I heard about that.
 
I think he said he agreed to it to escape an intimidatory situation. Not sure anything was proven but the mud sticks.
 
Looked it up. Admitted bringing the game into disrepute but cleared of match rigging.

glad to see a debut winner though. Well played young man.
