So how do I feel after that?

How on earth do you put that day in to context? My first game in 15 months, first time back at Wembley since ‘that final in 2012’ and actually first time I’ve travelled more than an hour from my house in over a year!
To see friends who I adore set me off from the start of the day and the National Anthem tipped me over the edge! I can’t really comment on the game because it was a blur - after 47 seconds I don’t think I really ever pulled myself round and I watched the clock more than the game (at first in disbelief as to how fast it was going, and then when we’d scored twice how slow it was going).
I wasn’t expecting the ref to blow when he did and so my reaction at full time was to check half a dozen times that it was over! Then as soon as I saw the players celebrating the floodgates opened. A combination of pride, a year of bottled emotions, a sudden reality as to what we’d done (again) and the fact there were a few who’d turned on the waterworks well before I did!

What can I say about this club? They have given me some of the best moments of my life - a life incidentally which has been blessed and been quite the ride - but there is something about this club which gets me in no other way. We’ve had the best and worst of times and yet it has been a constant which has been both a privilege and joy to be a part of.

I have to be honest this is the only promotion I’ve not been prepared for. Haven’t looked at the Championship table to see who we’ll play, hadn’t thought about the fact no more EFL Trophy and FA cup 1st and 2nd round and then the away days! But I have a few months to do that - first this one will take some time to settle in and am not sure it will for a while. In fact did today really just happen??

Some beatable teams come down from the prem and some good teams gone up from the championship. We have nothing to fear when PNE are nailed on for one of the relegation spots 😎

Well said mate .. come and post on here more often .. we need a few more informed posters.
Must say I shed a tear .. even though I was sat on my own with my dog!!
