Paul (Seasider12000) had a heart attack last Saturday. Luckily we got him to hospital in time. He's had a stent put in, but when they did that they said his right coronary artery was hanging by a thread and was going to cause another [fatal] heart attack. I'm so thankful to all the hospital staff who saved his life. He's now back home with me and recovering well.

We're getting married in March and I'm so happy that this is still able to happen.
 
Bloody Hell Valley!! I hope you are both doing okay?

Have they ended up doing a bypass? The fact he is still here now is the best news and they are so brilliant at getting people fully recovered from this sort of thing now.

Keep us updated and love to both of you. You'll have to eat all the Roses and Quality Street yourself now!!

Yes we're ok thank you - I'm looking after him :)

No he didn't have a bypass thankfully. Yes the staff were superb.

I will do - and yes, all the chocolate is mine now!

Jeepers, he’s been a lucky boy. Hope he recovers well/best wishes for his recovery. And a lucky seasider is a great (and very rare) catch valley so congrats to you both! 😀

It's now imperative that he does as he's been told by the surgeons, a different lifestyle and a different diet no doubt. He's a lucky man in more than one way and I'm positive you'll be doing your best to help give him this second chance. I saw the selection of pills he has been given for breakfast the other morning 🥴 he must keep taking them.

I'm pleased the op went well and he's now on the road to recovery, no doubt getting ready for March.

Thanks to everyone for their good wishes 😘 Paul and I met on AVFTT in the first place, and I've met so many wonderful people through it!
