So we go again on Good Friday ..

Worth noting Gillingham face Wigan on Wednesday and a Gills win would push us down to 7th (a point behind but with 4 games in hand).

Then Good Friday

Few really meaty ones here! I suppose looking at our faint automatic hopes both the Cods and Oxford could do us a favour but ultimately a lot of sides will lose points at the weekend and up to us to do the business at Swindon.

Doncaster Rovers (7) Charlton Athletic (9)
Accrington Stanley (13) Burton Albion
Crewe Alexandra Hull City (1)
Fleetwood Town (15) Peterborough United (2)
Ipswich Town (11) Bristol Rovers
Lincoln City (4) Milton Keynes Dons
Portsmouth (5) Rochdale
Sunderland (3) Oxford United (8)
Swindon Town Blackpool (6)

I think this season is going to the wire. Obviously the 2 Sunderland matches will have huge implications on whether we make it to the play- offs or not..
Top 2 not really on for me after yesterday. But would be surprised if we aren't playing on the last day needing a win to get in the final 4..

We'll be ok on Friday ....we look like world beaters in the new away kit!
The Easter Monday game could be hard graft though.
The away game against Gillingham wasn't a pretty sight.

I think likely we are vying for the last couple of play off places, I’d rather Oxford lose than Sunderland

I am already practising calming techniques for the Gillingham game to stop me self-combusting at their shithousery. Notice that by pulling the Wigan game forward to Wednesday night, both teams get 36 hours extra rest before their Monday games.

In our own hands - looking at our remaining fixtures I can see 6 targetted wins: Swindon, Accy, Dale, Shrewsbury, Northamton & Bristol with Donny Gills & Lincoln as "must not lose" games....the two v Sunderland are winnable but realistically let's assume they do the double over us so that takes us to around 74-77 points which may just be enough for Play Offs.

My major concern is that we may just run out of steam with all the injuries we've had and continue to have.

I think Swindon are made for the way we play we win that. Be nice to change it up for the dogs of Gillingham, a Madine return would be lovely for that one

Just read a review of Hull v Gillingham. 'A grisly game to watch' was the description.

I think we're all about that 6th place now and so biggies for me are Doncaster v Charlton where a draw would suit, Pompey v Rochdale where I can't see past a home win and Sunderland v Oxford where the home side could do us a favour.

Lincoln of course now postponed because of Corona - makes two wins over Easter even more significant - who would have thought we'd ever be above Lincoln in the table ..

Doncaster Rovers (7) Charlton Athletic (9) Draw Hopefully
Accrington Stanley (13) Burton Albion Think Burton will win that one
Crewe Alexandra Hull City (1) Hull stumbling a bit - Crewe a decent side
Fleetwood Town (15) Peterborough United (2) Would love the Cods to kick Fergie Jnr's ass
Ipswich Town (11) Bristol Rovers Can't see beyond a home win
Lincoln City (4) Milton Keynes Dons Postponed
Portsmouth (5) Rochdale Same - Can't see beyond a home win
Sunderland (3) Oxford United (8) Interesting one - Oxford know they have to start putting more points on the board
Swindon Town Blackpool (6) Think most would expect a draw but hopefully that away form continues
