Got a mate who has been in the game a few years and he says two weeks before the season is when the players will get the best deals - after that things tend to swing back in the club's favour.

I know we should all be sitting tight but am disappointed nothing has happened this week.
Pompey and Derby rattling on with business whereas we seem a bit slow.
There are some obvious positions that need filling and we have a budget to do that but for me we're a bit off the pace.

I'm a bit worried that only one signing has been made so far, that said there have been very few across the division at all, so we're not obviously missing out on players.

If nothing today, then hopefully some activity next week.
