So where do our current players live?

In the not to distant past Charlie was a resident of Hardhorn, used to see Alex Baptiste around the posh street in Cleveleys & once delivered a parcel to Stephen Crainey in Lytham. But what about the current squad? Vaguely remember a mention on here that 2 or 3 players shared a gaff in Manchester but with decent length contracts being offered are our players putting down roots on the Gold Coast?

I know Madine, Beesley, Hubby and Keogh live in the hotel.

Keogh, I know, lives around Derby, Hubby's from Leeds originally, I imagine he's got a place around there somewhere, Madine, probably similar and Beesley only signed a couple of months back so who knows.

I think that's how most players work, certainly once they have wives and kids, rather than uproot their family every year or so to move clubs they'll settle somewhere and then rent a flat or hotel room and then stay there when they have to.

When did the club drop the rule all players must live locally? They brought it in because 4 or 5 players travelling from Yorkshire for a game on a Bank Holiday Monday all missed the game stuck on the motorway.

It'd take a brave brave man to try that with Mad Uncle Richard's gaff.
True, that could be another thread “pool players who’s house’s you’d be scared of breaking into, connally & the goal machine spring to mind.
As an aside I’ve always fancied a silver butter dish & I’ll admit I’ve considered breaking into the trophy room at pne, I think after the melting down process I may only have enough silver for a large egg cup unfortunately

CJ and Kenny live in my apartment block in Manchester, I’m pretty sure Bowler lives around here too but I don’t know for sure.

I saw Tommy yesterday as he lives in my street. He was out for a walk with his lady wife. Tommy is a lovely fell…
He is, I live in the same area, always have a little chat and its good he still knows who Iam. Awful how he has suffered over the years, always running, then walking and now needing the help of his Mrs. Great guy.

You'll be lucky if you come away with a bit of old carpet and maybe the goalkeeper's pipe and breeches from the last time they won anything.

Hubby. Boston Spa

There should be a specification, when they sign their lucrative contracts, saying they will live locally for most of the week, like the vast majority did, who played in the 2010 promotion season.

I know Holloway didn't, but the players did.

They should all get a feel for the town and community they represent. Not just Blackpool, but at any club.
They're a bit like journymen otherwise.

Ben Burgess said it brought a togetherness, and a better local feeling, with them all living in the community, and believed it really contributed to little Blackpool getting promoted to the Premiership against all the odds.
