Some mothers do av em

I used to do a frank spencer impersonation as a kid. The teacher got wind of it at school and wanted to put me in the xmas play in front of all the parents coming on in the middle and doing it.
Hell would have frozen over first so i just went off sick and got out of it ๐Ÿ˜€

I was actually surprised at how average it was when I watched it recently. Great role by Crawford but he carried the whole thing and really good comedies have to have more than that IMHO. I'd still watch it it was on though.

She was in a film a couple of years before Some Mother's called And Soon The Darkness, which was allegedly a horror flick, but wouldn't even make the grade as a thriller these days. Looked rather good in it though

Some classic scenes, brilliantly played. The script was never the star. Amazing he did all the stunts. Can you imagine that these days?

Perhaps this should be on the best lines thread, but one came back to me when I saw this thread. Frank was being interviewed and the interviewer was trying to get him to tell him his name, so said I'm a Herbert, what are you. It was just the look on Crawford's face that made it.
