Some thanks for today

A number of supporters have asked me to pass on thanks to BFC for today: so thank you to everyone at the club. You’ve worked tirelessly in short order to let today’s trial game happen and it appears to have gone off very well. Thanks also to the volunteers who assisted during the week, to the match day stewards for being so friendly and helpful this afternoon; and thank you in turn to the fans for respecting the new covid code. The minor glitches will be addressed for next time. I hope it’s fair to say Blackpool can feel a collective pride tonight.

Well done to all concerned. At very short notice the club set up the ground very well, while the fans played their part in respecting the rules and then backing the team very positively for the full 90 minutes.

A special mention for the volunteers who started the clean up weeks ago and who have worked tirelessly getting the ground clean and there is still work ongoing.

It was very well organised and a great effort by the club, so thanks to all concerned.
One small suggestion for improvement would be to replace the numbering on the back of the seats and the lettering at the end of each row. Most have come off, which made it more of a problem finding a new seat allocation

I'd certainly ramp up to 2500 and see how that goes before going to 4000.

With a larger crowd I think they would have to stagger entry times to avoid long queues outside. I also think the may need more stewards to organise the movement of fans to and from the stands. Otherwise the genearl arrangements seemed fine, once you knew the one way systems. I think 4k could be about the limit though
