Some thoughts after watching the game today, if anyone cares
- I know we are a league above them, but we really did look a class above Barrow. Can't remember them having one actual chance and we should've probably scored a few more ourselves
- I see Lavery pushing 20 goals next season - looks so hungry and up for it
- Norburn should and will be our captain this season - captained us excellently second half and you can tell he's a natural leader
- I just don't see a universe where Dom Thompson is good enough even in League One. Sloppy passes and beaten too easily quite often throughout the game. Both the youth lads who played looked better at fullback.
- Pennington is very solid, will be a huge signing
- It just feels right with Critchley - there was a funny moment at the end with some fans teasing the first pump thing and Critchley just laughed and I believe held up 2 fingers (possibly meaning 'maybe in 2 weeks')
