Southgate out. Mancini in.

Mancini is the perfect choice.

Outthought Southgate in the Euros final. Knows English players from his time at City and - crucially- he’s available for the World Cup because his italy side didn’t qualify.
Makes a lot of sense, they also scored two goals against Germany last night, the same as us last year, except they were away from home, can you imagine us doing so well up front in Germany?

The useless F All (as proven with the way they failed to act against the Oyscums) will stick with their yes man. We have some of the best young footballers in the world, but our coaches let them down, by insisting they boring, backwards, sidewards frustrating football.

Absolutely, Roy was just unlucky when Iceland easily beat us, if it hadn't been for the two goals from them we'd have got through.
You can’t win every game even the clown
Southgate said that in his post match interview.
What he didn’t tell us it’s over 8 hours now without a goal from open play by our £90m/£100 strikers.
Even a £86m duffer full back couldn’t score last night but he came on for a striker, unbelievable Jeff Southgate is a complete joke. 🤬

I think you're being overly harsh on Jeff Southgate.

Maybe we get ahead of the curve, have a manager like Southgate to get us through qualification with his no risk brand, then hand the reigns over to a master tactician or gung ho manager who is better suited to knock-out football. Southgate/Holloway, the dream team. 😂

Easy to criticise after the event. If you were a professional playing for England NOT had a break from the previous season, playing with players you don’t not normally play with, and all possibly with the same attitude in a comp imho means nothing. SUPPORT to players and the Manager is more effective to any team in a loosing period. That’s why we are POOL FANS. 😁UTMP😁

I imagine the FA will do their usual trick of giving Southgate a massive and long new contract before the World Cup, and then have to pay it off a few weeks later after we return home severely embarrassed

Southgate is a polite, p.c. yes man who who suits the F All no hopers who employ him, down to the ground.

I am not just coming to this conclusion as a result of our worst home result for almost a century, his record even as a club manager gives no reason to believe he is any better than very average at best.

We had a very soft run through to the WC semis and then he bottled it as he clearly also did against Italy in the Euros, despite a wealth of very good players. With that feeble fearful approach you never win the big ones.

He is clearly a nice man who is in the totally wrong job and will never ever win us any competition of importance.

I am amazed that it has taken many others so long to see the light and more amazingly some, although a rapidly reducing number, can`t even see it now.

France's manager= French, Spain's manager= Spanish, Germany manager=German, Dutch manager=Dutch, Portugal manager=Portuguese Brazil manager=Brazilian, Argetina manager=Argie.........hang on there's a trend going on here, lets stick to our own.

Of course we should have an English manager, all we did for years when employing foreign managers is pay a lot of money for more failure, if we're going to fail it may as well be with an English bloke in charge.

For the record Southgate lacks bollocks to make big calls in tight games and his motivational skills are questionable, as for the last game what a shocker, a 4-0 defeat to a team that last qualified for a World Cup longer ago than the Sweaties? That takes some doing, Southgate needs to take a long look at himself and ask if he is the man to take this country forward, then if not do the honourable thing.
