Southport Tickets

Can’t go this year but enjoyed last … other than the downpour en route to the game from the town centre pubs .

If you like real ale type pubs the best we found last time was the “Guest House”. Did good pub grub too.

I'm waiting to see if the trains are on next week it was supposed to be a boys day out but won't happen if their on strike.

Hate pre-season games - not been to one since we played Bilbao about 20 years ago. Waste of time and money!
Agree .... ALTHOUGH .. can't wait for the Rangers game. Have supported Blackpool and Rangers my whole life and have never seen the two sides play.

Anybody need travel from South Shore please contact Salty to reserve a seat. Please Call or Text 07305588010.

I am told the trains are going to be a nightmare that weekend.

It may sound sad but we went on the Stagecoach bus from Preston last year … was very quick. Get a day pass. Can start in Blackpool and is a bargain .

If anyone is debating getting the bus if trains aren’t running I hope this helps:

The day rider is currently £8.40 that you would need to get you from Blackpool to Southport on the Stagecoach buses. For an under 19 the same day rider is £4.80. As stated above you would need to swap at Preston bus station.

Anyone thinking of going with younger ones you can get a group rider for £17.50 and at least one needs to be an adult and the other 4 can be Under 19 or you can do two adults and 3 under 19’s but sadly no more than 2 adults.
