Yep thought it would be, despite what people on here were saying.They were there until 1AM on Tuesday night putting the covers on, and have been working their nuts off ever since - including every night.
As the Head Groundsman posts, the pitch was 100% playable.
Thanks for your considerable efforts
Shocking by the FA how they weren't on top of the issue far sooner.
Good effort to the ground staff and club.

So the game would have been played. The club should demand compensation from FGR if they are to blame . If they are not the FA should stump up .

Monitoring the pitch for 72 hours including moving the lights around every two hours is going above and beyond in my book.

Paul is a very good groundsman who has got our pitch great but sorry in a cold snap I couldn't give a toss what the extra effort that he has to do from someone who works outside.
