Sprinkling the pitch

With rain this morning and heavy rain forecast during the match what on earth are they thinking of sprinkling the pitch before the game ? The side by the North West was a quagmire second half, I can understand sprinkling the pitch if it's dry hot and sunny but not when it's hammering it down with rain

Agree totally mind blowing.
Their second goal came from a slip from our defender.

Dunno but the pitch looked quite poor, hopefully 2 weeks wirh lights and more sunshine will help by the next game.
