St George's Day - What should be the celebration?

So the Irish gave Guiness on St Patricks Day, yet the English have never really celebrated St George's Day. What should be the traditional St George's Day fare then?

I would guess olives, wheat, grapes and the full range of herbs that are usually used in Mediterranean cuisine.

What special items you need to reflect his status as a soldier in the Roman Army I'm not sure.

That's the thing about facts.

I just think it is funny that the people who wrap themselves in his flag would have conniptions if they met his modern day equivalent. "Over here, taking our mercenary jobs..."

We should dress up in Morris Dancing outfits, complete with bells round our ankles, and dance outside our houses at 11am. It would count towards our permitted exercise.

Sausage, egg and chips, a slice of buttered bread ( white ) and a nice cool bottle of Bombardier !

English people can't be arsed with St Georges Day so just leave it as it has always been.... A bit of an irrelevance 👍

Wearing the St George’s flag as a cape, like a magnificent gammon shield that can protect me from those bloody foreigners, coming over here, taking our jobs (we can’t be arsed doing)....😁

It can be done, in a commercialised way - and let's be honest, that's all the Guinness and haggis thing is. So, let it be a pint of cask conditioned real ale, a sirloin steak with roasties gravy and two veg plus Morris dancing, cheese rolling and a bloody good knees-up in the evening to Madness.
