ST sales exceed 4000 today

Seat planner includes reserved ST.

I said 6800, don't think I will be that far out.
Yeah but there is no reason the 4k from last season which are reserved won't renew and if they switch seats for eg they become available again so its not like 2 lots of seats are double booked for existing st holders, also not like they have all renewed yet.

They have until end of month d there's no rush for them all.

So all seats gone should stay that way.

Looking like we get a lot more than I thought.

I can only imagine the 50 who wanted refunds being the only ones to potentially not renew but I bet they will now weve gone up.

Also we must remember any counts so far don't include corporate, which can be a decent increase, especially now its championship games with bigger teams.

Also were still only a few days into sales and have the end of month pay day for many which may bring more sales.

I moved seats too and like Blackpool Pete I did not get the promised email confirmation so I waited a few days to let the more urgent phone calls to the club get through before ringing them to ensure I had bought the correct seat and at the same time they released my existing seat so it is now showing as available. We used to be able to see our purchase history but I can't see any link to that anymore.

Fron reading the thread I don’t think anyone’s mentioned that last years season tickets were also capped by the club at 4K. We could have has a lot more than that last year so having 6.5k now will probably be in line with what we could have had.

I think we can definitely average at least 10k if the restrictions allow it.

Just got back from buying our season tickets. We are in block E in the north but looking at the seating plan there are only odd seats left in B,C,D and E all towards the front of the stand. There were a few in A but guessing they will go over the next week or so.
I asked how many we have sold so far but they said a lot but aren’t allowed to say actual figures for some reason.

The best thing about promotion is it makes it pretty irresistible to former ST holding boycotters who didn’t get one last year on Covid grounds and might have thought about getting individual tickets in League one. The fanbase is coming back together.

That was the case for 2 of us. Tried to get them online last night but was struggling with the 2nd ticket, sent an email at the time and they said they would hold them until this afternoon. Been down this morning to pay, very happy with that. Constant queue outside the whole time as well, went and spent a bit in the shop to.....maybe that's the idea haha

They've done that for a few seasons now, Accrington and Bolton away ticket sales were just two examples of this. The ticket office staff want to tell us but they have had orders from above not to. For me, if they are healthy sales the club should be publicising these sales so more jump on the bandwagon. Could be asked at the SD meetings but that would be really nitpicking I suppose.

Going on the number of seats that are unavailable is misleading as a certain % of seats (I forget the exact number) have to be available for general purchase and so not all seats that are unavailable will be season ticket holders.

Agree and disagree, general purchase can just be for the east stand which is 2500 seats. Or they can hold them back for blocks Y and Z depending on which part of the East away fans will be situated. I'm pretty confident seats unavailable are previous ST holders plus new ST sales.

Pretty sure they were capped at 4K last year.

The stadium plan is looking very healthy. Block B, C and D pretty much sold out.

Block E, the west stand and behind the goal (south stand) are 2/3 full. I’d say we’re approaching the 7k mark.

It might be cold in the South but you aren’t trying to watch with Squinted eyes and hand over the eyebrows trying to block out the sun....as you have to in the North and East for that matter😳😳.
Renewed on Tuesday in the first hour, got email confirming seat and payment received but not subsequent one saying PDF to follow.
Will double check sometime in the coming days that all is OK

Yes i got a email to comfirm me and the wee lads season ticket bought and seen PDF to follow but havent got the PDF yet

I would say 7k ST Holders is where Blackpool is as a Championship club which will take us to a nice average of about 10k!
We had an average of 9.5k in the 19/20 season, with 6k season ticket holders.

Home and away crowds in the championship are much bigger, so I reckon we’ll average 13k.

It must really frustrate the club, and actually any promoter, how there are random individual seats dotted here and there which presumably go unsold. For instance in M, on the top row there are two individual seats but they have two sold seats between them. I wonder if they ever ask people to move to try and get in as many as they can in to the best seats?

No chance of moving anyone in M, been ere for years, my dad sat ere brigade

I would love to buy 2 season tickets but cannot log in to the ticketing system as it says my password is wrong. When I try to reset, it says that an email has been sent to me which I do not receive, I’ve checked spam etc.. I live in Shropshire so cannot just call into the ticket office and the telephone does not get answered. Not a complaint, I will keep trying just a good sign to me that we are on the rise again and people are keen to watch us. However I will be happier when I’ve got them secured, can’t wait to see the fixtures on the 24th.
Stick with the phone Sea’. It will get answered at some point. 5 staff working to clear a constant queue at mo’.

If we sold 5800 in league1 in the last normal season we have to be aiming a lot higher than 7000. As a fanbase we need to shake off the past ie being a tinpot club with only 5000 fans, it was one of my main arguments against those that wouldn't boycott. We now have the chance to grow, we now have the chance to realise our maximum potential, there is no reason why we can't achieve what Brighton have done. Here is why we have genuine grounds for optimism;

1 Simon Sadler
2 Brett, Ben and Linton are the dream team board of directors
3 digital outreach has massively improved as has the social media team
4 There are 3 or 4 supporters groups that now have thousands of followers, all will play their role in promoting BFC.
5 The Armfield Club- the perfect example of what happens when people's ideas are allowed to flourish. It's without doubt the best supporters bar in the land and will add to the matchday experience.
6 Some exciting new initiatives-watch this space 😉
