Mediocre League One season, Dembele and Rhodes gone, a lot of our current underperforming/incapable players still here, some decent Championship clubs and Stockport/Wrexham coming up plus a few underperforming teams coming good, the bookies rating us 10th favourites and Critch still in charge.
Let's not forget last time we got stuck in this league gates were half of what they are these days. So how many would stick with us and how many would give up?

There’s too much time between now and next season, anything could happen, we might have a good January window, or not, we might start winning away from home, or we might start losing at home, we might finish in the playoffs, or below mid table.

I'm taking a year out for my own sanity, decided a few months ago . Not bothered about results but the disagreements between fans and the utter drivel that comes out as club communication just irritates me. I'm sure I'll still end going to some games but I'm fed up feeling annoyed by everything. This isn't a flounce it's been brewing since last season

Still a flounce mate😂😂

Deep breath, leave this site alone and hope that the team improves. You may not need your year out.

I am out of here. Apparently I don't have a season ticket but that's done it for me. Pay on the gate only when we are doing well. Please join me you wonderful Blackpool fans

Being an exile I’ll be picking and choosing home games next season. Still go to a fair few away as most of them are easier for me to get to

Why are you even thinking about what’s going to happen in 6-8months ???

Odd

We were discussing it last night and it's more to do with the fact we're all a bit bored. Even at home where the home form is great, we just don't have a sense of excitement. The chanting feels forced and as others have said there is just a lack of anything tangible.
Two signings in we'll probably be giddy kippers and be in the ticket office renewing but if you were to ask me top renew tomorrow, I'd struggle.

I was just thinking the same. If SS was at the Bristol Rovers game he shoud have picked up on the very low mood of fans. Even when we were winning there was little in the way of atmosphere and at times it was almost silent. It’s been gradually getting that way for a while.

Sadly, the signs are there for things to turn unpleasant, should NC not improve what’s happening on the pitch. I think at present, fans are somewhere between apathy and protest.

The win at Portsmouth brought hope that we’d kick on, and it delayed most fans voicing their feelings in the ground. We’ve dropped off again and I can’t see fans sitting quietly for too much longer. SS needs to take notice, as his substantial investment is at risk.

The key thing for me and others, is that we are more than good enough to be challenging at the top. We are likely passing up a great opportunity, because next season the teams going down / coming up will be a bigger test.

The only question for SS, is the manager capable of delivering the required level of consistency for success? If not, he’s got to go sooner rather than later.

Success with the talent available to NC, cannot be consolidating our status in L1.

We could well be in the Championship with gates of 13k. The pessimism on here is ridiculous, we were 15th in early Jan the last time we got promoted from League 1. We are currently 8th with plenty of football to play and a transfer window to come. Keep the faith
It's very easy to draw comparisons and even easier to highlight the differences. The most notable being CC arrival in October. Even NC acknowledged the input and impact he had.

18th when he arrived and by early Jan we had started to climb.

Why the fuck are you even asking season tix holders to join you only going to games if we are doing well you PART TIMER.
That would really help our club eh? Duh!!!

The weirdest thing is that we ARE winning!!! Last ten games all competitions...

WWWLWWLWWL

Yet our fans are in crisis mode. Isn't it a bit pathetic, the level of doom and gloom? Miserable bunch of ungrateful over entitled cunts if you ask me! 😆
We are in 8th, 7pts away from the play offs. I think that is the reason for a lot of the negativity. Especially when you look at the performances away from home, they are quite simply awful. Port Vale next up and it feels like an important game. Lose and play badly and more will be on the Critchley Out bandwagon. I'm not there yet but I'm keeping my eyes on it.

I understand the disappointment, I feel it myself, but we have won 7 of our last 10 games in all competitions, so a little perspective is probably required.

To be fair season ticket holders have had a good deal 8 wins out of 13 at home ,it’s the 1500 who go away that have a raw deal. We have some tough home games to come and these will be crucial to our fortunes .

There is an attendance boom going on. Most clubs are getting double what the used to 20 years ago, not just us.

Every season ticket holder I know will renew. It’s in your blood. If you can find that £8 a week for an ST you will.
Regardless of position in the league, or whether you like the manager or not.

Too many games missed by so many in the boycott years - people don’t want to go back to that.

Often find that the loudest people on threads like this are not holders anyway.

Fans who plan to renew whatever the club does incentivise Sadler to ignore protests.

Rehire Grayson and Appleton, then appoint McCarthy - all surefire failures.

Restore Critchley - after his shortcomings at Villa and QPR - for more flops.

Supporters certain to buy season tickets, despite relegation and mediocrity?

They get the Blackpool they deserve.

I didn't renew my ST for this season on the back of Critchley being reappointed. I missed it once the season started but some of the results seemed to justify my decision.
I decided to pick and choose my games this season and chosen really badly. Apart from Burton, I've not seen them win @ home!!
Probably because of the situation, I haven't missed it as much as I thought I would but have missed the beers before and after with my mates (but I can do that any time)

I suppose when I was younger and we were shit I'd go all over the country watching probably because I had nothing better to do.
As I got older I realised BFC are not the be all and end all.

Do I still love the seasiders? You bet, that's why I get passionate, some may say overly, when I get angry and frustrated. I may be back at Bloomfield Rd with a ST and so may you.
Never rule anything out pal, maybe good times are just round the corner🧡

I don't get this comparison to that season, that was then, this is now, it doesn't mean it will pan out like it did then, it's clutching at straws and utter bollocks.

I just want to be able to watch football without any agendas or arguments so I'm going to Spain once a month to watch Malaga CF. Will end up going to some Blackpool games but at the moment my passion for my club is diminished and I don't like feeling this way. During the boycott I completely detached and I'm nowhere near that level but I just want some time to remind myself that I am a football fan first . If anything it's a cheap baccy run every month 😁
