Stick or Twist ? Where do we go from here.

Sometimes the football I see us playing is fantastic to watch. Fast , good passing , pleasing on the eye. Don't get me wrong...I'm really disappointed with the results but still think we are going in the right directions. The two centre halves will hopefully make a difference. Gabriel will improve and looks exciting. Garbutt looks decent and is still getting his fitness. Robson is decent for me but more of a breaking up.play type of player for me and not the creativity that we need. So need another midfielder with these atributes to create more chances. Cj Hamilton worth having in the team for his speed but end product is shoddy at times and let's him down. Yates needs a goal desperately from open play then we may see a flourish from him. Anderson play just behind strikers. Not battling in midfield. Dangerous with the ball at his feet. Madina. Impact sub...That's it. So need a midfielder with creatively min league 1 experience and a striker ( probs loan from a prem side but someone on the edge of their squad who just needs game time.)

Address these problems and I think we might flirt just below playoffs. Then next season...challenge! !

Any player not mentions isn't doing anything for me at all.

Thoughts ?

With the backing Critchley has had from Sadler in the summer I'd say play offs this season was the minimum target in a poor division. I hope the 2 new defenders can shore up a shocking defence. I agree some of he football has been decent but without ever looking like an end product. Yates despite his huffing and puffing has been a real disappointment, hopefully a goal will change things.

Heads drop when we go a goal down and there's not one player in that team who can lift them. Why on earth when we're chasing games he brings a defensive holding midfielder in Williams is totally beyond me.

We have some 'better' options to come back in Kaikai and Virtue (well better for me anyway), we have the Viking to come in and I still think we have some tweaking to do. Shame that NC's experiment is being played out in public and going so wrong!
