Remember being in florida last year.
Weather warnings towards the end of the holiday.
One of our party said, storm in a teacup fuck all will happen we've been to florida loads and never had problems.
Next day...... trees down, power down, panic shopping at Walmart, very few shops open!!
6 of the group went home day late as Orlando International had no flights.
Me n Mrs Wizz travelled back the day after had to book emergency accommodation as we got kicked out the villa😵‍💫

Anyone remember Michael Fish saying it wasn't going to be that bad the night before that mega storm😉
 
headlines of 63MPH on the Scilly Isles. Woopy do. Don't get excited till its over 100 on the tops up here, which it was earlier this week. No headlines, though, because it's normal.

Famous he became due to that, and I met him. This was in the George pub in Chalfont St Peter, he used to go in and drink large G & Ts. Nice bloke, but obviously tainted for the rest of his life by “there won’t be a hurricane”
 
Walked the dog on the prom in Cleveleys, before work, think a couple of my hairs blew a little in the breeze.

We have got a bit woke about the weather these days if nothing else.
