Structured dialogue meeting.

Even I'm getting a bit restless.
I’ve got nothing to do. Send them to me and I’ll write them up. Be done in an hour tops. Meeting was Monday. Friday afternoon now.

Wonder what we’ll see first: the minutes or more away kit

Are you any good in reading shorthand, because they apparently used that to take the notes? 😄

I'm led to believe the minuets were being typed, but due to 'unforseen circumstances' the first draft had to be re-done.

I've just had a telegram from the Club. The minutes are being sent out in the post but there's a shortage of carbon paper to get enough copies typed.
Conflicts with what I saw and know to be true. I saw a bloke with a bfc staff shirt on dropping the message in a bottle and releasing from north pier, (tide and luck permitting) from there Steve collects them somewhere down the river wyre and rides on horseback to a secure location, he then has the painful task of decoding using the enigma machine.

Its from there the minutes are announced to a select chosen group over a tannoy by Tony Parr.

😂. Very good.

Don't knock it! I've heard of one Trust last night who tried to get all its supporters board members to complain about the lack of structured dialogue, and the club told them to pack it in or they'll get booted off.

Can't say who but what goes around, comes around ...

The Club really do need to look at hosting these via Zoom to all or better still Streamyard

If the Cods can do it ...
Interesting earlier this week when this point was raised that the response was 'they don't intend to stream these meetings' .. I find that a bit strange myself!

I don’t mind them not streaming if it means they can be a bit more open in the discussion… but I don’t get much sense of them being super-open from these minutes. I don’t have a problem with that, but can’t see why you wouldn’t want the CEO to appear on camera saying ‘we’re working hard on the training ground but can’t announce anything yet’

I think we need to accept that whilst Sadler is a fan the others aren’t, they are in it for the money and to keep their jobs. A cagey business facade is the default setting. Mansford looked uncomfortable at the Armfield so obviously neither going to be free and easy in this kind of setting.

This is the actual question I submitted.

"Nathan Shaw has recently left the club and joined AFC Fylde.
I'm sure everyone at BFC wishes him well and maybe after a season or two at Fylde he may become someone else's Sonny Carey.
My point is how do BFC propose to develop it's graduates from our u/18 squad or is the future to pick the cherries from elsewhere?
We now have several first and second year pro's where will they be playing next season?"

Not sure if it was asked in it's entirety and if wasn't who "cropped it".
I accept there's a part, albeit rather vague, answer.

I get the impression they do not wish to accidentally commit to anything or be held to account TAM.

I could be wrong of course, but the process feels more Oystonesque than Karl himself.

I would probably do the same thing tbh, with a rabid fanbase following and documenting every word that is spoken!
