Are we resigned to Critchley for another season - or is there a slim chance of a close-season managerial change?
Really hope Sadler is bold, and gets rid.

Absolutely not . It’s proving a challenge with day to day activities but I’ve got everything crossed for an early ditch of Critch .Are we resigned to Critchley for another season - or is there a slim chance of a close-season managerial change?

That’s your ideal outcome rather than what you knowStaying . Soz
Ollie. I like that.Absolutely not . It’s proving a challenge with day to day activities but I’ve got everything crossed for an early ditch of Critch .
29days.I spent much of last year in hospital having had a brain tumour removed.
To help me back to a normal life, my lovely son in law got me a season ticket. But despite, like many of you, having watched Blackpool for about sixty years (we've seen some crap haven't we?) after just a few games it was so obvious how we were going to play that, despite being back to full health, I simply could not force myself to watch the turgid faeces being served up at Bloomfield road. I stopped going.
For me, and I think most of you, it's not just about results. If we want to watch results we can watch the results. But we pay money for joy, for spirit, for heart, for fight, to see a game played with effort and passion. Not just an exercise in hanging on to your job.
At the time I strongly disagreed with those fans saying we should give him until Christmas. Now, I see they were right. We should have.
I genuinely wish Neil Critchley happiness in his life. I imagine even he is tortured by what we are all going through.
If CJ can get one with 1 and a bit decent performances we are fucked having had 2 good performances under Crotchless s that could be a 5 year extension going on the rate CJ gotProbably more chance of a contract extension than a sacking, sadly.
When you think of the extraordinary deals those two no-marks were given, it's almost as though the club are prepared to offer contracts to any old Tom, Dick and Critchley ...If CJ can get one with 1 and a bit decent performances we are fucked having had 2 good performances under Crotchless s that could be a 5 year extension going on the rate CJ got
Is there anyone nationally that earnt their money easier than Hamilton today. EmbarrassingIf CJ can get one with 1 and a bit decent performances we are fucked having had 2 good performances under Crotchless s that could be a 5 year extension going on the rate CJ got
It's getting criminal and SS must surely has to be thinking he is having the proverbial taken big time.Is there anyone nationally that earnt their money easier than Hamilton today. Embarrassing
Downward spiral it is, then ...Sticking with critch will come at a cost next season
If he changes his style and plays positively he may get the fans to return
If nothing changes though it's a downward spiral
The new owner has been massively let down from the start with poor management choices
I'd say 4 games to save his job. The cracks were showing on Saturday - 5/6 claps at the North and he walked off. These things will be noticed. I'd say if he loses either of the next two games he is on very think ice.Are we resigned to Critchley for another season - or is there a slim chance of a close-season managerial change?

I know, he said that when he took over, but apart from occasional games, it’s been dire. If that’s what he wants, which is what his customers want, then he only has two choices, tell critchley to do it immediately, or get rid.Matesrates, SS is on record saying he wanted attractive football, so you never know.
Here's hoping.

How about at the Wall's Ice-Cream factory in Gloucester? I should imagine, especially in the Spring and Summer seasons, they can't get enough of them (cones) - and it comes with the added benefit of being located miles from the Gold Coast!Surely someone somewhere needs some cones putting out...
Except you didn’t take division into account so ratio is a bit meaningless n’est ce pas?Hope so, best permanent Manager we have ever had in terms of percentage of games won. (47% this time, 41% last time and 44% overall)
The next best is Alex McFarlane, 91 years ago with 43%.
Before anyone asks, King Billy as some like to refer to him is in 20th place, with 40%.
I agree. It does feel like every transfer window we are needing a big rebuild though. Less than ideal.I think we're stuck with him till about November.
I think the idea of bringing him in was to avoid a big refresh last summer.
I think Sadler will acknowledge it hasn't worked as planned but also give him the chance to do what we probably should have done last year - which is lose a few players, get a few more in.
I think he'll be conscious of the fact that we've had a lot of managerial change and that he'll want to give Critchley another go at it because I think he honestly sees Critchley as capable of doing it.
Whether that's right or wrong isn't really what I'm saying. I'm saying what I think will happen.
If we're stuck with him then I hope we go and sign a crop of young players and a couple of really gnarly bastards with character. A Keogh and a Gaz so to speak along with a few Bowlers and Ballards. Get some cast offs with a bit of soul and a bit of nous about them and some players with a point to prove.
If we just pootle along and sign a few 26 year old steady types then I can see us imploding with frustration as whilst I do think we've got maybe 7 or 8 genuinely decent players and a few more who are perfectly respectable squad players, we really lack character, variety and raw ability. The idea of us relying 100% on Rob Apter (or worse, not playing Rob Apter in lieu of an identikit ex Crewe utility player) whilst everyone gets pissed off is horrific.
Whether he stays or goes, the challenge of recruitment is the same I think.
So when did he have a competent assistant, this time or last time? Now apply the win percentages to when he isn’t supported by a more competent no.2.
Left unchecked, he’s a walking disaster area.
Specifically Calderwood from October in his 1st period with us, currently Head Coach at Southampton. So when did he have a competent assistant, this time or last time?
Ok thanks. Incidentally, if we didn't have a set of (fit) strikers that could not hit a barndoor, we would easily be a lot further up the league now.Specifically Calderwood from October in his 1st period with us, currently Head Coach at Southampton.
Nobody from this time.
Can’t argue with a lot of that td53 in broad terms I think that’s roughly where we are and what we need and I suspect recruitment wise or far off what will happenI think we're stuck with him till about November.

Obviously he’ll stay but I hope he knows why the fans are frustrated and realises this season’s errors. Are we resigned to Critchley for another season - or is there a slim chance of a close-season managerial change?
