You have to wonder why she was fine working in his govt if he was so bad and 'unelected'.

Let's be honest, she wants to be leader. In fact, I suspect this is all playing out exactly as she planned it. They're all power hungry and sod the impact on the country. Fortunately, none of them will have any in a years time.

I don’t think people are “clinging to her every word”. They are just thoroughly enjoying watching the Tories (your party) going to war with itself. Yet again. 😂

He’s being attacked by Braverman and her bunch of no marks on one front.

Nadine Dorries as a proxy for Bojo on another.

And (less obviously - at least at the moment) Gove who is quietly pushing Kemi Badenoch for the leadership.

Meanwhile Cameron is no doubt ruminating about a comeback as leader. Oh and Liz Truss no doubt is doing the same; whilst staring suspiciously at Priti Patel.

Has Suella got the numbers for a leadership bid? it's very unlikely. The letter is something that can be used when the Tories get thrashed at the next election. Suella will be able to say 'I told you so' as a part of her leadership bid. God help the Tories if she actually became leader.

If there are any Tory MPs who actually have the national interest at heart, they would force a General Election now. Unelected, unaccountable and failing badly -its time for something different.

She's obviously mastered the art of writing in a way that makes very little in the way of achievement go an awful long way. And of course there is no hint of self-awareness or contrition regarding her role in some pretty awful scenes at the weekend.

She's a typical product of the "you can be whatever you want" generation. A fifth rate talent who has been found out by a First Division job. Not the first in this Government, by any means. She may not even be the last.

I do think she has a shot at being the leader of something. The EDL maybe, which would be a good home for her. But she lives in the swamps at the fringes of our politics, and it's the best place for her.
 
The Tory party have made quite a habit of promoting these swamp dwelling talentless individuals . I hope they get exactly what they deserve at the next election.

I see that utter ** Rees-Mogg is putting his support behind Cruella, they will be looking to topple Sunk and won't stop until they have a far right party, They need to be ousted, probably why the likes of Cameron have been bought back, there's a battle looming.
 
What a drama queen! With zero self-awareness of her horrendous arrogance and self-aggrandisement.

Sunak has only one decision now. He cannot accept this blatant mutiny in his party, even if, especially if she is on the back benches. It’s not just a personal attack on him but the whole Govt.

Sunak might have the local Con Party chairman of Braverman’s constituency visit him in Downing St and then demand she be deselected. And he might withdraw the Tory whip. Call her bluff, how many MPs will support her at their own risk? Very few, I suspect.

And he could issue a one-line statement in reply saying “She is a manipulative individual as one can clearly see by her letter”.

Sue Ellen, her real name chosen from Dallas, needs to form a really really nasty party with Dominic Cummings as her mouthpiece 🤨 The PM will be able to point to the government meeting his promise to halve inflation with todays figure.
