Was on a flight today, so missed the game - was 1-0 when I took off, and 3-1 when I landed😬

Did there seem to be signs of improvement and more attacking play?

Nope not really

We have no centre forward to hold the ball up and the midfield isn’t confident enough to pass it around and be patient enough to wait for a gap to appear.

So that puts a lot of pressure on a defence as the ball comes back at us consistently and frankly our defence isn’t good enough to hold out.

Thanks all for the replies.

Seems all too common but at least we looked a bit better for longer. I’m pretty much resigned to the drop at this point.

First half, very encouraging, comfortable on the ball, defensively compact and created a few chances leading to a well worked free kick and the prolific Andy Lyons getting on the end of it. Then just on the stroke of half time we go and give there man the freedom of the penalty area to pick his spot.
Second half we were predictably penned in our own half but not under immense pressure imo, again not looking threatening but comfortable and then the kamikaze Blackpool reared its ugly head failing to clear a cross and gave Morris a free strike on goal in the six yard box. Their third looked a good strike, something we couldn't dream of,but again nobody near the man.
Glad Dobbie has another five games because first half was better before our demons came back to haunt us.

First half we played great. Second half crap.
I beg to differ. First half didn't play great - we were up against an indifferent Luton, with a dead atmosphere in the ground, and they didn't press us or go for the jugular, so we were allowed time on the ball and got into the half a fair bit.
We still played dozens of lazy mis-placed balls, wasted good half chances.......Fiorini shooting straight at the keeper from 20 yards being an example. The whole ground were falling asleep until we scored. In fact, in the first 25 minutes, absolutely NOTHING happened, so we can't have played great.
Luton got a bollocking at half-time, then came out and dominated us.
Any positives to take? None, in my book.

A comedy of errors from 44 minutes on.
Yep, if we'd have held out for that last cross first half our confidence wouldn't be smashed and them massively lifted.

It may not have mattered in the end but it definitely affected us 2nd half and they knew 1 goal and they've basically won it.

The first 2 goals conceded were an absolute comedy of errors. They didn't even have to work for them.
