Remember those summers when we'd be worried about losing players - the fury at losing the likes of Peter Clarke, Charlie Adam and Shaun Barker.
Who would be the one BFC player you'd now be gutted if we lost.
Bar Grimmy I'm struggling to think of one!!
 
wouldn't be overly gutted about any of them to be honest.Marv is a great defender but not so good at football. Carey has got a lot to offer if played in the right position with better players around him. Obviously we lose the loanees anyway so they don't count. Other than that can't think of any. .
 
We need to keep our better players & add some quality otherwise it’s a complete rebuild & we’d be back to square one.
 
Grimshaw, Gabriel, Apter are the only 3 that any other club would think about making an offer for.
 
So what is this based on, a squad for league 1 or for the Championship?

If for league 1, this squad would have achieved play offs without the coach's intransigence and slow reaction for substitutes.

I find this dismissal of players who have, at times, played some superb football and beaten the top sides, totally disrespectful
 
Of our contracted players: Grimmy & Jordan G.
Some of our squad are definitely good enough for L1, but the aforementioned are good enough for the Championship.
If we're in L1 next season & our aim is promotion, then we need to recruit the players who will achieve that.
Either that or we recruit 3 coaches who will consistently get the best out of our current squad.
