Going out with a whimper....
Thought Dobbie was going to unleash the creative players and go for it.
Granted today with Jerry being out is a big loss but not seen anything to suggest we going to go down with all guns blazing......

Just been a really shit season....

Just a bit annoying that the truth is that we have been poor all season and no matter how much and try to find positives, there ain't any. Unfortunately the players we have aren't good enough for this level of football. And even worse the majority not good enough for league one...

We won today because we scored, they didn't and we played better than them especially second half. We have a first team of players out injured and yet looked focused and determined.
That's where we are and it's far far better to watch than most of the previous month's dross

How many times have we missed sitters this season?
And the only reason we were gifted a goal was because of the pressure we applied in the second half. Plus, if you are gifted an opportunity you still have to finish it off.
A suggestion to the o/p; it’s not over until the fat lady sings so perhaps leave your criticism of the manager until after the game. If indeed you need to criticise him at all.
I can only assume you wasn’t there today after such an inane comment.

Confidence is what’s missing. They’ve been talked down all season by successive managers. Dobbie can’t just wave a magic wand and turn that around. Results like todays, and the current management teams enthusiasm and passion will help but sadly we’re running out of games.
Also while there is still any chance of us staying up they can’t really afford to be too gung-ho.
 
We grew into the game today and ended up being the more dominant side for more than half of the game I would say. When have we done that ever this season? Maybe we have played well for 10-30 mins or had short spells or flashes where we looked coherent. But today we actually looked like a team of footballers with quality in it and a cohesive collective unit. In the last 10 minutes after we scored we were even keeping possession of the ball! I can't remember the last time I saw us do that and see a result out so confidently. The vibe is coming back to the players. You can see it in every game we play under Dobbie. He looks happy. The players look happy. Today was a great result for us and will give us heaps of confidence going into the final 2 games.

Glad to have my words stuffed back down my throat by the little wizard. As they say in the Northern Soul scene KTF.
