Was up in both Ambleside and Bowness/Windermere last week enquiring (have a holiday home up there)My 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday - already committed to night at Wild Boar. Any pubs in the area showing the game (if I can manage a couple of hours away from Mrs W). Many thanks UTMP.
You could drive home, watch the match, and be back in the Lakes before your Mrs realises that you were a long time on the Bog..Was up in both Ambleside and Bowness last week enquiring (Holiday home up there)
Those with Sky Sports told me you would have to book a table you couldn’t just roll up, two even told me i’d have to book a meal as well to guarantee a table as they would lose revenue being a bank holiday weekend.
I’ll be watching it in the caravan Dave just hope it’s a good stream on the dodgy IPTV.You could drive home, watch the match, and be back in the Lakes before your Mrs realises that you were a long time on the Bog..
I think Mrs Westby should be a bit more understanding and sympathetic to the cause and let you watch the footy in your local with your mates and then go to the lakes on Monday. And if she asks who’s said that tell her Davepick! My 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday - already committed to night at Wild Boar.
