That was a kick bottom win which I didn't believe would happen until the last wicket fell. Roll on Essx at Blackpool!
 
A quite unbelievable turn around. Well done Lanky! Hopefully they'll have time to head over to Lords and give England some luck.

Apart from Roland Butcher, the Surrey commentators have been the most biased I have heard for some time. Mind you it didn't do them much good. Over the next few years they will dine out on 'lucky Lancashire had the best of the conditions, but we are still the best batting X1 in the history of cricket.'

More deluded than North End fans talking about promotion campaigns.
 
That Lancs storming up the league. Although 5th a 20 point win (and Warks draw or loss) would put them 2nd with same games played, 21 behind Surrey. With some luck etc, who knows?
