So, I thought the Board was getting a bit testy. People being suspicious of each other and getting nasty. And here we are....playing it out.

Yep. I had to bow to your debating skills. I had to call up my 'Anger Management' coach to give me some crisis support. I just wish I could have half of your magnificent intellect. And ability not to froth.

Reading this thread is it any wonder why we don't get younger posters on Avftt.

Full of old people arguing the toss over irrelevant things on a BFC forum.

I'll help you get another single. For me it's a bit like switching on a programme you don't like, then complaining about it. TBH I sometimes read & occasionally comment on the politics side of this board, but more often than not it just degenerates to a childish spat & I really can't be arsed getting involved, so I don't bother with it that much.

Not seriously trying to get there Sooty. I wrote the OP when I got a bit frustrated with another thread that more or less dared posters to have a go at each other. I actually believe that there are good non-football discussions on this forum but, like all message boards everywhere, the longer they go on, the more open to name-calling they become.

I'm happy to declare and return to the pavilion at this point for an unexpectedly late quencher.
