T20 Durham v Lancs

I hope the so called "stars" perform tonight. Buttler, Livingstone, Salt were shite last night. I like Jones,but in a 4 day game or 50 over game, butnot a T20. He's a great fielder but he doesn't score quickly enough for me. Now I hope he proves me wrong.
 
Really poor again. Are Appleton and McCarthy in charge? It just looks like the arrival of the internationals has destroyed the group, to me. Body language isnt great.
 
Letting the star players walk in to the team has completely unsettled the team .

They look like they're treating it as practice for their main events in the IPL or International duty.

We started well with our normal side. Very disappointing

Treating it as down time. Look really jaded.

We had around 90 after 10 overs. Terrible second ten.
 
Livingstone was a shocking choice as captain. Arrogant and disliked by the majority. Didn't work last time and won't work again despite having the best T20 squad we have ever had.

Don't agree - I think he's a leader and despite having an arrogant persona is actually quite popular in the group.

We'll come good I'm sure . . . maybe not tonight but we'll make the knock out stage for sure.

It's a decent squad but the team that won final days was the best we've had for a while and the one with Livingstone, Buttler & Glenn Maxwell was better than this one.

The trouble is I think they are. These players are filling grounds midweek for these games. And money is king.

Feel like the way Salt, Buttler and Livingston are playing in a disrespectful way that they wouldn't in the IPL. Like Lee said above their body language is as if it's just a midweek bit of practice.
 
It's like we're a football team who've signed 11 prima donnas. All of them want to dribble past everyone or shoot from 30 yards rather than work hard for each other. We seem to have little structure, formation or team ethic.

Quite right as they are playing like Franchise CC and not showing any real allegiance. It's odd that since Salt, Butler and Livingsone have been added to the squad we have gone backwards.

The three of them look utterly fed up and disinterested. And drained. The teams beating us have togetherness and young fired up players. Like we did before they returned. Not rocket science. Need to have the balls to drop them.
 
Looking at it coldly, Lancs play T20 really well at Old Trafford and not that well outside of it.

There’s still time to change that pattern, but Notts is a tough place to start.
