Play 5 across the back against the mighty Port Vale who come to Bloomfield Road brimming with confidence.

Knock it across the back for 5 minutes and hope Ekpiteta falls asleep to give the opposition false expectation.

Then get bored and hoof the ball long to a 5ft centre forward stood on his own in the land of the giants.

I'll pay to watch this every week 👍

Couldn't have put it better

CJ wasn't as bad as some are saying. The problem tonight ( apart from the build up being so down and laborious) was the midfield, Morgan Carey and Dougal were so weak and so easily pushed off the ball. It improved somewhat when Virtue came on.

That's what I call a match report. It will get better - won't it, please? 😬

And yet without his pace we would have been opened up defensively on a couple of occasions
I remember both occasions you're referring to, and, sorry to take the wind out of your sails, the second basically related to an incident in which Port Vale had taken up position in a highly dangerous position close to our penalty area after they had intercepted a calamitous pass from our dear friend after he'd failed to search out one of his colleagues. So, yes, credit to him for rescuing the situation, but I'm afraid in this instance, he was simply author of his own misfcrtune ...

Lavery is the only player in my eyes that deserves credit. I hate this passing at the back ,which I warned people was coming and the whole of the midfield seemed not to be trying. How can Lavery get the ball and break away without a single other Blackpool player there to help him . At least 3 or 4 Port Vale defenders managed to catch up with him. SHOCKINGLY SHITE.
