A big win for the DPP, and not the close race many experts were predicting. President Xi will not be pleased, so expect more sabre-rattling and US/China naval tensions in 2024!

That’s clearly telling the Chinese to fu*k off we don’t want to be part of you. 👍
Yes and even more positively DPP got massive support from the younger generations. 👏

It makes the US election even more high stakes though, I think. If this election had been close or the KMT made gains, then China would play the long game, keep trying to boost them and disrupt the DPP.
With the direction of travel so clearly going away from 'reunification'...if Trump gets elected and Chinese domestic issues keep piling up, Xi could make a military move in 2025. 🫤

He'll get the go ahead from Trump anyway, wanks himself ** silly over dictators.

Not sure it matters. We are all already ruled by China indirectly anyway. A third of new electric cars coming into the UK are from China. They make two thirds of all electric cars worldwide. That's just one market but they have us dependent on them in every facet of life.

One small problem, nobody wants them.
