Stop throwing the players under the bus.

You’ve played the same restrictive system which has clearly not worked consistently away from home.

You don’t change things during games, you keep the same strict structure even when losing.

89th minute, Derby have a corner. And you have all 11 players back in the box?

You might be sick of saying the same things. I’m sick of seeing the same things.

As I say in the title, take some ** accountability. You are the manager and you are doing very little to change things bar alienating the fans and players to you.

We must be the unluckiest team in the league. We match everyone and control games but keep losing on the road........

We were much better today than against Vale, Burton, Cheltenham etc but still lost.

Who's interested in controlling the game if we keep losing. I'd rather we get hammered in the posession stats and come away with a stuffy win.

Whether you want him out or not I was saying during the game that our general play is fine but we are just really poor at the back and not threatening up front once we get there. Whilst you can of course say he has recruited them positions it's pretty much what he has said after the game too so I can't slate his interview too much. Bottom line for me is our players in the key positions, the difference makers so to speak just ain't good enough. We need to spend some money on 4 or 5 proven quality players.

I’ve got zero faith in him being able to sort out our problems as he’s been unable to all season with the same abject away performances.

We’re playing a system that doesn’t suit 3/4 of our starting 11. Gabriel is a far better right back. Marv best in a back 4. Casey rightly back in the team but at LCH.

We’ve given CJ fuckin Hamilton another 2.5 years, don’t play the signing they boasted was the “most expensive signing in Lge 1” bar for 20 mins at the end and have Sonny Carey left of a sole striker in Jake Beesley.

Add to the above the fact we spend half the time passing it around at the back to eventually launch it forwards usually to Dembele and I’m struggling to see the plan or what NC is bringing to the table.

His inability to change the shape in game and make pro-active subs is pitiful and he couldn’t be any further in the far corner of his technical area.

That Ebou Adams made about 10 fouls today and bar for Byers no fucker on our team ever said anything to the ref to get him booked.

We’re soft as shite just like the gaffer.

This is a totally different NC than the 1st time and it’s far worse.

The problem is I’ve got zero faith in Simon Sadler making a decent appointment when we eventually part ways with NC which will be November/December next season after an average to shite start next season.

You can see it a mile off.

Unless we don't trust a word SS said on air, there's no likelihood of NC losing his job at the end of this season.
He may decide to leave during the Summer, as is his wont, but not sure he'll receive as lucrative an offer as he did last time

I do not think our owner wants to spend a lot of money. I do not blame him. His MO is to buy them young and cheap and hope a couple come good and command decent fees when we later sell them.

Cannot disagree with most of that.

Bit like Crewe with a bigger fan base something to look forward too:(

When we lose Byers, Dembele, Rhodes and Coulson back to their parent clubs, and Marv walks at the end of the season.
When Critchley, who's going nowhere, sets us up the same next time around with Connolly on the right of a back 3, we'll be fighting relegation next season.

Something has to change.

I am now officially dreading next season after reading that, I probably knew all of that deep down but having read it 😢😣

So the way the players are coached, we're no very good as a team defensively, hardly create or threaten the opposition, the coach has a say in recruitment but you can't slate his lack of ownership in any of this when interviewed.
🤔 Please tell me your username is a piss take.

Sorry mate, I'm usually pretty positive and although I didn't particularly feel it was a great idea to bring Critchley back, I desperately wanted it to work. It's obviously not working, especially away from home and unless we either ditch the Critch, which is unlikely, or sign the right players to fit his system, and decent ones at that, I can see it getting worse before it gets better.

Spot on!

It’s clear that the current system does not use the strengths of the current squad. It’s tantamount to the McCarthy era. Connolly and Ekpiteta are clearly not suited to 3 at the back. Husband and Gabriel are attacking full backs. CJs strength is his pace upfront not defending. Beesley is not a lone striker. Byers and Norburn are having to cover our defensive deficiencies and holes in the formation. Joseph and Morgan have no clear roles.

The players are not good enough playing Critchley's system. So why won't he change it? Let's see how good they are playing a different system away from home. You can't judge the players when they are playing a system they are not capable of.

Edit: The players are good players at home under a different system to the away system.

So Critchley doesn't realise that his players are playing in a system they are not capable of dealing with.
Could that mean that Critchley doesn't know what he's doing?

It’s a basic lack of intellect. He has been dealt a hand but he believes he has a different set of cards. He wants his system to work irrespective of the players at his disposal.
