Ideally yes, but it’s quite short term with a lot of quality to come back. I’m not sure we’ve identified another similar midfielder, but if we have, needs to be permanent.

The win tonight might open a few eyes and make us look a more attractive proposition. I’m certain that some players will have written us off as relegation fodder.

Maybe we’ll bid again for the lad from a Wednesday?
